Main Hall

The main hall is large and bright making it ideal for many different kinds of events. Plenty of light is allowed into the hall by windows situated around. The hall has ample power sockets.

There is a serving counter from the kitchen directly into the main hall making it ideal for catering purposes. There are blackout blinds on all windows, making it ideal for discos that require darkness to create the atmosphere when using effects lighting.

Tables and chairs are also available for you to use when hiring the hall.

Dimensions are approximately 15.2 metres long by 8.2 metres wide.

With it's unique barrel effect ceiling, a real sense of space is achieved and due to the very high ceiling, previous hirers have used full size bouncy castles inside the hall, showing how versatile it is.

It is fully heated for the winter and has air conditioning for the summer, making it comfortable to use all year round. When hiring the hall, you also get full access to the kitchen, toilets, baby changing room and the gated car park.

Cleaning equipment is also at hand, so should any spillages occur, they can be cleaned up straight away.

No steps or stairs are found anywhere on the premises. It is all one level making it completely wheelchair user friendly.

The maximum number of people permitted in the Mottingham Community Centre hall is 100 people.
